The Complexity Behind the “Cute” When we see polka dots, we often think of “innocence” or “playfulness.” Like the iconic bow of a certain mouse, it has long been a symbol of pure, unadulterated cuteness. However, from a psychological perspective, a different face emerges. Analysis suggests that individuals who are sincere, serious, and perhaps struggle to break out of their shell or self-promote, unconsciously gravitate towards the “safety” of the polka dot pattern. Behind the Beautiful Heart: The “Honest” Voice In my creation, “Honest,” I chose to express what lies beneath that beautiful, “cute” heart. This is not about hidden malice or “shita-gokoro.” It is about the “Honest” voice—the raw, adult truth kept deep inside. It is the intense, pure reality that exists behind the daily discipline of a woman who carries herself with grace. Why Polka Dots? I intentionally used the mot
