In this project, we re-engineered an oversized concert tee into a flattering, edgy silhouette using custom neckline cutouts and sleeve slash detailing.
The Challenge: Reshaping an Oversized Concert Shirt
Our client loved her oversized tour t-shirt, but the standard crew neck and boxy sleeves felt heavy and unflattering. She wanted a more stylish, breathable, and modern fit without losing the original graphic print.
Her key customization requests included:
- Flattering Neckline: Modify the tight crew neck into an open, stylish cut-out/V-neck style.
- Edgy Sleeve Details: Add custom sleeve slashes for dynamic movement and breathability.

1. Neckline Cutout & Reshaping
Instead of simply cutting off the collar, we carefully re-patterned the neckline to ensure it stays flat against the skin without stretching out over time. This open neckline elongates the neck and adds an effortless, feminine touch.
2. Custom Sleeve Slashes
We crafted parallel slashes along the sleeves, reinforcing the stress points to prevent tearing during movement. This cut-out detail gives the shirt an edgy rocker-chic vibe while keeping you cool during crowded concert venues.
