Here is the behind-the-scenes journey of a bespoke denim jacket (Type 1 model) custom-made from scratch, embodying our philosophy of “subtractive aesthetics.”
Following on from the previous chef’s coat, we’ll be making a “Denim Jacket” using denim fabric.
First, we’ll cut the fabric. This time, we’ll be using Japanese-made “Kaihara denim” slub yarn series
10oz indigo.

Details
This premium raw denim jacket begins with a conversation with a blank sheet of paper. Unlike typical ready-made clothing, a fully bespoke jacket takes into account the wearer’s posture, movement patterns, and unique silhouette.
Every stitch and choice of durable selvedge denim is carefully calculated so that the jacket ages beautifully with its owner, becoming a second skin for decades to come.
